How to Update Your Stripe Statement Descriptor
The statement descriptor is the name that appears on your customers' credit card statements when they're charged through
Stagey.
1. Go to your Stagey Control Panel Home
2. Click Manage Your Payout
3. Click the View Stripe Dashboard button at the top
4. In your Stripe Dashboard, click Settings (bottom left)
5. Click Edit next to Public Details / Customer-facing information
6. Update the Statement descriptor field with your desired name
7. Click Save
Changes typically take effect for future charges; past transactions won't be updated retroactively.
